Ben and D'Arbie - Waves of our Lives
Ben and D'Arbie were developed initially to feature in Queensland Tourism's Million Dollar Memo Competition. Companies and workplaces worldwide were invited to compete for the ultimate prize, one million dollars worth of travel experiences to Queensland.. The competition was open to anyone from any organisation, company, business or workplace in any country.
All that was needed was to put together a video entry that demonstrated why your company was a great place to work and why Queensland is the ultimate reward destination.
Ben and D'Arbie did not win but were seen all around the world, showcasing the region and the business. As a result, they created quite a following.

At the 2014 DestinationQ forum I pledged on behalf of ism our commitment to volunteer to support tourism destinations to be exceptional on social media which I have continued as a Board Director of Gympie Cooloola Tourism, managing the social media and consultant to the Not For Profit organisation.
